Additional tips
Performance Feel 6/8 in two groups of three; let the lower strings carry the groove while the B and A chord changes ride on top.
Touch Verse light, chorus fuller. Use the same picking hand but a deeper wrist on the chorus bridge to lift the E → D → C#m motion.
Start improvising A major pentatonic: A B C# E F# (same notes as F# minor pentatonic). Try two-bar phrases; land on A or C# over I, B or E over ii, E or G# over V.
Follow the chords Over vi (C#m), G# is the natural chord tone and rarely clashes. Over ii (B), D# also belongs to the key but clashes against an open I (A) — pull back to F# or A around the bar boundary.
At E → D → C#m The bVII (D) is in lieu of the harder G# in this edition. Move D → C#m by walking D–E down to C#–E; the descent lands cleanly on the vi chord.
